Island peak, another name Imja Tse (6173m) is looks like ?an island in a sea of ice? that?s why some how it?s called by island peak. It?s situated at the top of the Imja Khola valley in the Khumbu region. To climb the island peak is technical and straight forward so that the climber must used the component of climbing materials like ice axe and crampons. The most difficult section is a mixed rock and ice wall at the slope of around 45 degree leading to the narrow summit ridge.
Our trek will begin after our 30 minutes flight from the Kathmandu to Lukla and it will continually go up to Everest base camp passing through very beautiful sherpa villages including Sherpa?s capital Namche, high pass Kala Pattar (18450ft), Khumbu glacier and Everest base camp at the foot of Khumbu icefall. When you will be at the Everest base camp you are able to see the very live view of world?s height peak Mt Everest in front of you including Mt Lhotse massif, Mt Nupse. Now we are fully fit and well acclimatised in order to climb the Island peak. After spending some nights then we head back to the beautiful Imja Khola valley towards Island peak.
As soon as we will be at the base camp of Island peak, we will set our base camp then we have 3-5 days in order to make ascent of the peak. After our successful ascent of the peak we will back passing through Sherpa?s capital Namche and fly out form the Lukla to Kathmandu.
Finally, disguise with Arun staff for necessary information before leave the Kathmandu. We ATE promise you to provide one of the better service through our honest, hard working, sincere and experienced staff that is you ever seen.

01 Arrival Kathmandu (4,264'); transfers to hotel
02 Kathmandu; city tour; trek preparations, Loben to do trek briefing
03 Fly to Lukla (9,184'); trek to Phakding (9,200'); overnight camping
04 Trek Namche Bazaar (11,283')
05 Rest/Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar; optional day hikes - Khumjung, Khunde, Everest view, bakery etc
06 Trek Tengboche (12,694'); visit monastery that same night in Tengboche or early in the next morning.
07 Trek Dengboche (14,465') in the Chhukung Valley, beautiful views throughout
08 Rest/Acclimatization day in Dengboche; rest, optional day hikes to Amadablam South West Base Camp
09 Trek to upper Lobuche(16,170'), camp near Italian Lodge or close
10 Trek Gorak Shep (16,925') after lunch trek to Everest base camp overnight Gorak Shep
11 Sunrise climb of Kala Pattar (18,188'); trek to Dingboche
12 Trek to Chukung, Climb Chukubg Ri
13 Trek to Island Peak Base Camp
14 Summit back to Base camp
